HEAD UNIT SKIPPING CUZ OF BASS

Recommended Posts

Man I went through the same ting when I got my 12s, you know Id hit speed bumps or whatever and the head unit never missed a beat, but as soon as the bass hit it skipped.

I tried everything and gave up, ended up getting an ipod, it sounds great and hasnt skipped yet.

lol ive thought of a bunch of ideas to combat this... springs, shocks stiffer support to vehicle ect ect (no idea if they would help or what would work but my mind thinks crazy thoughts)

theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer

how tight does your deck fit? use the same ideas used to keep other things from vibrating..make sure the cage is super tight, secure it in back. I've used plumbers tape on the back and sides secured to whatever was close by. Add dynamat to the console. You can make it stop just be creative
