anthonyott99 Posted February 17, 2011 Author Report Posted February 17, 2011 Well couldnt make the Daytons fit so ordered some Tang Band 2" drivers to put in them and a small 100 watt amp to drive them, but in the meantime, I bought this; And replaced my door speakers with these for my mid-ranges and they ended up working extremely well for mids !!!!!!!!! Had to cut an adapter ring to mount in my current pods;

BanginOnABudget Posted February 17, 2011 Report Posted February 17, 2011 i feel like talking shit about you just because of how much better your system is than mine lol...... you do good work man, i hope my next build goes a little something like this, already had the idea for 4"s in the pillars and 10"s in the doors im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt. Pioneer 6.5" and 5.25"s temp. until i can afford the new crescendos. Pioneer 6000ub Reciever NO amps at the moment. SA-15 on 1kw coming soon. MSG Me for a free enclosure design!! Since you had them first up in your build, did they suck ? Actually , NO ! I was really surprised at how the sony's performed. Even my friends that where into car audio couldnt believe how good they performed. Only problem is that they just dont have a very high excursion, but with that said, i gave like 60 a piece for the sonys and only gave that for both of my Hifonics subs and they are awesome !! But i wouldnt talk anybody out of using the sonys if they wanted. Just my opinion.
