Level 5 Neo vs Level 6?

heres the next thing...i have the 2 AQ 3500.1Ds...if i do so they will be wired to 1 ohm strapped...i know those subs will handle MUCH more than that but will that power even suffice? (mainly directed towards thor or other NEO driver users)

There is nothing wrong with neo. Like jeff said, the more air you move through the motor, the more the coil AND the motor cools.

You have any idea how much air moves through a sub box? It a shit ton! There is more then enough cooling, to not worry about how hot the motor is getting and if it's goin to lose strength.

yes...I THINK...i never said it was true or a source it came from but from being around quite a few people who use Neos and talking to them and how they work and how they compared to other subs...im basing my THINK off of that

and yes...i made this thread asking what would better suite my application and i wanted Neos coming into this thread...and wanted to make sure that was a choice i wanted to go with and compare them to the Level 6s because before the Neos were in my head the Level 6s were in my head for MUCH longer...i would really like to reduce weight and the price is right for these Neos (no i will not say any prices so done ask)

plus i want a sub that like Thor said..he slams on his all day and doesn't even SMELL them...i slam on my 5s for a good time but they get a LITTLE stinky...nothing bad that doesn't go away quick but its nothing near what it did when i had the RF 2.5ks

also dont get me wrong...i LOVE my level 5s and if i come out of here and end up NOT getting either sub (NEO OR Lvl 6) ill still be a happy man with BADASS fuckin subwoofers that i bang daily that eat it all up...and still be doing work at competitions...no discredit to the Level 5s one bit...my favorite subwoofer ive ran to date

I could have sworn i seen a video that rusty posted of a lvl 5 with 4" VC... ever think about getting yours switched over to that?

personally, I think i might run neos in the future, in another vehicle of course

I agree with you. I would like to have either subs, but I think the NEO is more suited for my needs aswell.

1. The price is better with NEO vs LVL 6

2. They weight less

3. I can use my current box

But you good with either one. F... what the haters think. There either to stupid to understand or cant afford them. I havent seen a valid point to NOT get either one.
