mbdblue Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 So I went to monro muffler to get an oil change today (I know, I usually do it myself but the apt. office will kill me if I do it in there parking lot). long story short, I made an app. for tomorrow, too many people. the road is very irregular to get in the parking lot, and on the way out, something hit underneath (I couldnt hear specifically where) and now I have a significant loss of power accelerating from 0. unfortunately, I have no jack and all my friggin tools are at work so Ive got nothing. any ideas on what could have hit? no fluids from underneath. the car has always had a little pep, like a quick throttle response. doesnt have many horses, but always had that nice little kick. and now its gone Im going to ask if I can go in there garage tomorrow to take a look; and if they wont let me, maybe they can take a look. mbdblue Posted November 13, 2010 Author Report Posted November 13, 2010 it was driving me nuts.....so I went out in the 40 degree weather with my friend to at least listen to it. after a 5 minute investigation, we've come to the conclusion that it is my exhaust and it has cracked somewhere under the front passenger seat. Ill hopefully be able to see it tomorrow. who wants pics???
