99GPGTX
The 415i is for Ipod video. You would connect it directly to the D310 Like any other 3rd party A/V source. Control is still just through the Ipod not the deck. The 415 can be used on any brand video deck What i do not see in the manual for the 310 is the connector for the 422i. It does have the Ext. Output Connector but if i remember correctly, that was more for the v12 digital (amp-link) amps and may not have the right peripherals for the ipod. Unfortunately, there are a couple years / models that kinda got screwed with what works with what. For this model the recommend the KCA 420i and that hooks up through the AI-net i have tried to hook up the 415 to the brain and this and that and i still cant get it to work (and yes i forgot to mention the 415 is for video) either way i cant get it to work i looked at the brain and saw the ex out. so will that work still? kingsuv
The 415 should still work then..how exactly do i hook it up...like specifically. The A/V hooks to the A/V in on the deck. Make sure the A/V is switched to on for the deck and make sure the switch is off for the S-vid on the 415. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

Katt
I think you got the same Alpine deck as me, like kingsuv said you would need the Alpine KCA 420i. It was made in 2005 right? The only other way, i made mine work was using the Aux in with RCA to 3.5MM and manually using the ipod. I think the 2005 and older versions need the KCA 420i, and the newer ones only use the cable. I might be wrong, but i think that's how it is. *06 330i - Sundern x12 - saz-3500* *91 Foxbody V1 S-Trim Notch*
