bassl0va Posted November 17, 2010 Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Along time ago when i was 16-17 im 27 now i had a great idea like this and the only thing i could find around my house was some diff color xmas lights So i strung them up around the ceiling of my car hooked them up to my amp and bam lights be blinking when bass does He has the reasonably right idea, I'd get a crap amp that is separate to power the lights though, as you would present a strange ohmage to your amp and affect how much power your subs are getting. So it would be better to have ti on a crappy separate amp, since, after all, you aren't going to hear sound from lights! haha Get some led lights from auto zone or whatever and hook them up to your amps speakee terminals then they'll light up everytime the bass hits (friend did it) Your friend is also going to break something. I'm not quite sure how to hook that up, but it can be done. AutoTek and Crunch subs had cones that led up to bass hits.
