best way to upgrade electrical for more power?

The big 3

Upgrade your alternator

Another battery

Use 0 gauge or bigger wire

Have good grounds to your chassis

DONT GET A CAPACITOR!! All it does it put more strain on your battery and alternator

i have all stock electricl. no big 3.

im asking this question because before i got this amp i had a hifonics brutus 1600d and this new aq2200d i got is not pushin my sub any harder i cnt even tell a difference.

my setup -

shitty 4 guage wiring kit from ebay (23.99) lol. 4 guauge was the biggest my old amp would take

aq2200d

15 fi bl

all stock electrical

if i upgrade to 0 guage wire and do the big 3 will i notice a big difference in how hard this amp will push my sub or do i need to upgrade alternator as well?

your shitty 4 gauge is prob like 8 gauge or 6 gauge, do what ascendant15 said..

I would go for a upgraded alt over a batt in the back but thats just me

ya probably haha. and ya i was under the impression that adding another battery to the rear would pretty much be pointless witout a higher output alternator?

say all 0 gauge wires

a new alt.

and the big 3 and i should be golden rite..

Yeah, adding a 2nd batt with out the alt to keep up with the drain from the system helps but its just not enough, supply and demand kinda stuff. I would add a 2nd batt in the back as well, but only after the upgraded alt
