If I was right about the speakers impedances, these are ways you could wire it.

#1) 1 four channel amp.

Wire the 6.5s in each door in series, they will be 4 ohms then, wire them in parallel with the 4 ohm speakers, then you have 2 ohms per channel, with 3 speakers per channel.

#2) 2 four channel amps.

Wire the sets of 4 ohm speakers to their own amp. Wire the 6.5s in each door in series so they are 4 ohms, wire to their own amp, 1 door per channel.

#3) Best: 3 four channel amps.

One amp for the front doors: each infinity gets it's own channel.

One amp for the back doors: each infinity gets it's own channel.

All other speakers get their own amp.

#4) 2 four channel amps.

Get a nice four channel that can handle 1 ohm, like the SounDigital SD1000.4AB or the Crescendo 1000C4.

Wire the 6.5s in each door in parallel down to 1 ohm. Use one amp to power all the 6.5s. Use another four channel to power the other speakers.

#5) 2 four channels and head unit. Advise against this as it would most likely sound like ass.

One amp for the front doors: each infinity gets it's own channel.

One amp for the back doors: each infinity gets it's own channel.

Run other speakers off the head unit.

I like it. But, is that with consideration that each speaker is single 2 ohm? There's 3 speakers per door up front, 2 in back door, then a 6x9. 6 speakers per side, each speaker is single 2 ohm.

Ah, I didn't know all of the speakers were 2 ohms. The way i read it it just sounded like it was just the 6.5s that were 2 ohms.

In that case I'll modify options 2, 3, and 4 for you.

2 four channel amps.

Wire the 5.25s and 6x9s to their own amp. Wire the 6.5s in each door in series so they are 4 ohms, wire to their own amp, 1 door per channel.

How's that for ya?

Makes a little more sence. So plug The 6.5s in front to their own ch, and then tap the 5 1/4 that are up there too into a ch that the 6.5s are in?

like this?

remember that your music is in stereo. so we have a left and right. if you put left and right speakers on the same channel you lose stereo.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

IAtruche thanks for explaining a lot better detail on how to wire it up.

The other way to do it is add two more pairs of 2 ohm speakers and run just one big ass four channel.

good idea. So 4 more speakers total and 1 big ass 4 ch? Are the ones reccommended above good for that?

I love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.

You could just do the sets per door. Ditch the 6x9s and 5.25s. I have the component version of those infinitys. One set per front door and they fucking scream on 100 watts a speaker. If I added back speakers and a pair up front I don't think I'd even notice it.
