ALPINE408 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Yea it was a pain so I mite as weel make the box look good cause I don't want to do it again...took me a hour cleaning up all my 20plus 0g wires in the back..lol looks a lot better...what have you heard about strapping compared to running unstrapped...I heard unstrapped is louder..anyone? almost ALLWAYS un strspped is louder but we are only talking a few tenths of a db like .3 up side to strapping easyer to tune and wire down side you lose some tenths of a db most people strap amps in dbdrag cause of the how many connetors you can have rule or for the crazy loud guys its the only way to get 4 amps on one sub Have you ever had your woofers blown?

ALPINE408 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 ya i only strap if i HAVE to if its not needed i wont strap.. and all the amps i have ran strapped vs unstrapped were more stable and cleaner unstrapped but i have not played with any DC amps so i can't speak on them Have you ever had your woofers blown?
