craniumcrackinbassv2
quick question, do you guys think that 2 sa15's on a crescendo 3wkp is too much? im getting mix reviews on this. i have a neighbor thats really into car audio and he says to go with a smaller amp due to the fact that yes the SA line is an over build sub for the price but it is too much power. and then i have others say that due to the same fact they should be fine. just wondering what you guys thought...( btw they will be for dailey use )
AMI CUSTOMS
I would say it will be fine, those subs can take a lot from what I have seen. I have seen the 12's take 3k, two sundown 1500's strapped. Swaggasaur
put it down to 2 ohms if you dont feel safe. id say only put it to 1 ohm, if you have minimal voltage drop, dirty power means nasty smoke Quote BHE Wall Build TEAM DC Audio TEAM XS POWER1986 Monte Carlo KMC Nova's 20"4 DC XL's W/ PSI Recones2 DC 5k'sPioneer PRS 8010 Audio Technix 6 XS Power D3100's 1 XS Power D3400 Mechman 220a Alternator

Bakerman
"Too much power" Whos ever heard of such? If its too much, you can always get an equilizer, or just turn the amp down!

If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
bassl0va
Not to thread jack, but OP, you still haven't given me definite, measured dimensions of your trunk. And yeah, go for it, they will be fine on that power, you can always turn it down after all. TorK102
It should be fine. If you can, get an oscilloscope to tune the amp. If you smell something burning, and it doesn't smell pleasant, its your sub burning. Quote My bass is louder than your mom...
