of course, you also have to remember that box has been around since the btl's, and the mt's. steve doesnt like to change stuff if he doesnt have to. im sure that if he was into rebuilding boxes all the time, he would probably make a few changes in the box.

If it ain't broke don't fix it? I wouldn't rebuild if I was happy with my shit.

i agree. but for that much displacement and power, it had better be, even if the box isnt 100% optimal.

I dont see it happening either. Would there be enough space after woofer displacement?

the mounting depth alone on them things would mean the area you got to squeeze the sound through would be too small to actually work.

i wish i had more room to work and my lil HDC3's are only 10" deep.

Now he could do like that fail ass build ray posted for us all to laugh at with the 8 12's or whatever facing UP in the bed of the truck.

but even with em mounted like that i think the magnets would smack wood unless the box was considerably taller then the bed.
