I took my friends old 4 channel sony amp and walmart wiring kit off of him and installed it until christmas when all my new shit gets in. Well, i wired both of my D4 subs down to 1 ohm, bridged two channels, and ran my wiring all right. But i turned my car on, played some music, and all im getting is consistent *thump* *thump* from my subs every half second. Doesnt go with any of the songs beats whatsoever. And its the same pace everysong. What did i over look? Feel free to ask anyother questions if needed. Just wanted to get some beat going until christmas, which is when i get all new wiring, a new amp, and a battery. So HELP ME OUT!!! 2010 Civic SI sedan: Crystal Black Pearl All stock.

n8ball2013 Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 if his subs are dual 4 and he wired them up to 1 ohm I wnat to know how he did that and is using the amp bridged. if its only one side or if somehow he's got it rigged to both channels. It takes a good bit to confuse me and he succeeded. I wired both of my D4 subs down to a 1 ohm load, then connected that final 1 ohm load to a bridged rear speaker out on the amp. Theres a L+R on top of the channels, which is what i connected them to. 2010 Civic SI sedan: Crystal Black Pearl All stock.
