ryderonthestorm
I have three different amps in my trunk and I am wondering if it is ok to connect the remote turn on wire to one amp, then add another wire coming from that same remote terminal to the next amp and another one to the last amp? Sorry if what I am asking is confusing. I will add a little pic that I drew to kind of explain what I am asking better. Rebel4055
Pretty sure you need a relay to do that. Quote Rest In Peace mother. January 22, 1955 - February 14, 2013 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/user/35351-megrch/
bumonskateboard6
Can work but I don't suggest it.... Go to autozone and get a 30amp 12v relay here's a diagram of how to wire it: http://www.the12volt.com/relays/relaydiagram25.html Quote Current Systems: 2011 BMW 335i Hertz HDP1 DC LVL3 12" Full Carbon Fiber 2002 Acura TlKenwood DNX9980HD2 DCLVL4 12" Subs with LVL5 Parts D.7 CoilsDC 3.5kHertz HSK-165 up front HCX-165 RearHertz HDP4 AmpDC Power Engineering 260 Amp AltBig 3 and amp powered with KNU 1/0XS Power D2400 Up Front i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch... going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box... Superjay
it's fine, but for that many amps I'd recommend a relay. most head units only provide 0.4A of current and most amps need 0.28A to turn on. JaM Customs aka mprete
ok just to get this right, you would wire up that relay and then run one wire to the amps and split it into 3? or then run the remote like how the OP has it after the relay? or how... thanks Quote 2001 dodge ram 2500 quad cab 5.9L V8 my build logs... dodge build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/94914-mpretes-2001-dodge-ram-2500-quad-cab-build-log/ trik build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/94447-trik-build/page__p__1298547__hl__trik__fromsearch__1entry1298547 box building thread- very cool designs (PICS!!!) http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/95713-2d-or-3d-box-pics/page__gopid__1318152entry1318152 i am a mechanic, pm me if you have questions or anything. Torres
coming out of the relay, you could do it either way. i'd split them up closer to the amps rather than by the relay or running 3 whole wires to the amps
