ChevyBoy
i never knew you could calculate decibel gain. what do you mean by that?
Forevrbumpn
double cone area, double power, equal double your spl output? 3 db? is that what your talking about? Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Mr. 973808
There's a formula for calculating decibel gain that I can't remember for shit. I know it has something to do with the log of 10. Quote THE GRADUATE 10:18:2007

Charger
Hey buddy, when you figure out a mathematical equation to calculate gains from power and cone area please PM me because it will save me actually having to buy the gear I can just calculate it on my computer.. Thanks. Coolwazabi
u talking about this ? * 0 dB = same level or no change in level * +6 dB = 2x * +12 dB = 4x * +18 dB = 8x * +20 dB = 10x * +26 dB = 20x * +40 dB = 100x * +60 dB = 1000x * +80 dB = 10,000x
