Image dynamics sound great !!! little pricey though ... I run Blues Car Audio (I've never heard anything like these), If you save up, you might want to look into them ... just a suggestion ...

alright im having the hardest time tryn to find out what mids and highs i want!

some i have been looking at are T3, Rockford Fostgates, Infinity, stuff like that

im just looking for some good components that are less then $150

Cant help much with the speakers, but did you use to post on motocross.com a few years ago? Im pretty sure i remember a screen name like yours, and i noticed in your interests was dirt bikes. Ha ya its random just figured i would ask. I will follow this thread though as im looking for some mids and highs also

lol yep! i did when i raced lol ... got in a bad dirt bike wreck and my mom made me stop racing and after had to be wrapped from head to toe, i had no to hardly any skin on my legs, arms, and my back..... i had a hole all the way to my bone and chipped the bone in my elbow and got 63 stitches in my arm(i suppose to get a skin graph but iwas scared) and 3rd degree burns on my right leg from my knee to stomach. i still ride but not every often

Thats crazy shit man! I cant remember what my screen name was on there but i use to post on there when i raced on the west coast. Now i live in Omaha, i dont race motocross as much anymore mainly enduros and harescrambles now. It is some dangerous stuff no doubt, thats why i kinda chilled out on motocross and realized im never gonna go pro lol. Im not as young and fearless as i once was. I have had some crazy wrecks too and my body has suffered a lot. even got a 20 grand ride in a helicopter once! glad to see your ok and still riding. btw i had an r18 civic like yours up till a few months ago. I still have a megan header for sale for it, and a skunk 2 shift knob if you are interested pm me. header has the angled o2 sensor also to delete the CEL.

those ID's are excellent speakers, especially for the money. But PLEASE don't buy from woofers etc...no warranty.

call ID monday to ask who an authorized online dealer is, or, even better, where a local dealer is in your area.

i get a ton of stuff from woofers etc. never had to send something back though. they do have a warranty for speakers but it doesnt cover bent cones, burnt coils, broken terminals or burnt leads. not sure what IS actually covered as those are all the things that can fail on a speaker lol. i have called and talked to them before and they were very helpful.

i own a pair of crescendo mids and i installed the ID ctx in a buddy's car. the crescendo isnt bad but the ID kills it.

they are on 11th street in LA...i used to drive down there to buy stuff when I was first getting started. They aren't authorized for ID, so ID won't warranty anything from them. They buy everything sideways. yes, I hate unauthorized online dealers. can't stand them. They are sucking the life out of the industry. Sure, you end users can get stuff for cheaper, but at what cost? it takes business from local shops. Who are you going to turn to when you need help and have run out of skill? What happens when he closes? what happens when they all close? do you really think the manufacturers are going to want to stay in business as an internet industry? no, they won't. sites like woofers etc are literally killing this industry.

access is passable, polyglass is nice. I like them, but the tweeter is VERY bright. VERY. If that's what you're looking for they are excellent speakers and are made very well

what does it mean when the tweeter is bright ..... im sorry i just dont the difference between warm and bright speakers lol
