Maybe looking into adding another 180a alt but means ill have to relocate my intercooler to a front mount, good excuse though lol. What brand alternators seem to be popular at the moment in the states?

DodgerCannon Posted May 6, 2011 Author Report Posted May 6, 2011 Why thank you dude! There is a dual 210a alt setup in the pipe line, once I've measured everything up ill start getting parts. They have been clamped to do 250a+ so 500a of alt should see me a solid voltage, that's if the little engine can take it lol.

DodgerCannon Posted July 9, 2011 Author Report Posted July 9, 2011 Well, the 180a alternator is going, things were getting too warm too quick so I've bought two 210a alts and an external regulator, a lot of people in the UK are using these alts and reporting 250a-300a of output from them. Will be fitting them over the next week... stay tuned.
