DreDay256
I'm just wondering if you wire one side of component set to one channel of an amp, 1 mid & 1 tweet thru the xover, will the channel still be @ 4ohms or does that drop it to 2ohms? Also, what's some good 4ch amps that's are decent priced & do clean rated power? I was looking at the HiFonics ZXI8408... any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!! finkster
It depends on the set. Each set will specify what the average impedance is at the crossover. The AQ 4 channel isnt a bad priced amp in my opinion. Quote DAT 4125------>RE XXX comps active Eclipse cd7000 I serve drunks for a living

I believe I seen the AQ 100.4 for like $375.. is that about right? c_stud
I'd try the cresendo 1000.4 if that's in your budget and won't overpower them Quote 1998 Nissan 200sx NOW: Dex-p98r head Planet Audio 300.4 mids and highs Planet Audio/Pioneer tweeters/crossovers Skar SK1500.1 3 SKAR Vvx15 dual 4 wired at .

bumonskateboard6
Depends on the component set and how you run it. MOST 4 ohm component sets will have a crossover that shows a 4ohom load to the amp and then goes to the speakers from there. I must not understand your question or something. DreDay256
Yea I don't think you understand. I'm asking- if you wire one side of a comp set (1 mid & 1 tweet) to an amp, does the amp see 2 4ohm speakers or does it see the 2 speakers as 1 4ohm load?
