I would either center the sub on the baffle, or make it so that the very edge of the port lines up with the very edge of the sub. Basically draw a horizontal line from the end of the port, and move the bottom of the sub to that line.

the sub would be in a bad location unless i flipped the box but then the port will be blowing on my arm and ash tray . will i lose performance by having my sub away from the port like this?

To be honest, just put it where you think it looks good. You are over-thinking the design, and it really won't make a difference where you put it in that simple box.

Biggest noob problem today is overthinking things. You don't need perfect 33 hz tuning, 5.0 cubes, and sub loading placement. Just aim for a general area, pull the trigger, and pound them subs.

so i built this box and put in a cheap concept sub to test out the sound while i wait for my ssd and wow i couldn't believe how hard it hit and low.. im never buying a prefab again!!!

You want the sub as far away from the beginning port inside the box as possible.

Not true.

You have to think of speaker placement. Cause if its wrong, it could caused unloading issues, and also decrease SPL.

But mainly, the unloading issue, which in turn you have a uncontrollable sub, that will reach the mechanical limits, and maybe cause it to fail prematurely.
