merk_master
Hey Guys/Gals , As most of you know I have 2 Boss Audio Phantom 15s I am running. I was looking for a budget amp and came across the Hifonics HFI 1000D mono amp. I purchased it already but should of asked for reviews before I did . so lets hear them . Kranny
HIFONICS IS A REALLY GOOD AMP FOR THOSE THAT HAVE A BUDGET.. I DON'T SEE A PROBLEM WITH THEM caps? and no info given on the hfi line? worthless post is worthless anyways, from what multiple people have stated, the HFI series does HALF of the stated RMS figures. fecupe2001
Hey man, you should have asked that or reaserching on the forum before buying it, there´s a few topics about the HFI line, i had the HFI2500D and it was no near as loud as the bxi2610D wich isn´t even that loud, that HFI1000D it´s around 700 watts maybe? Autruche
You probably just made the biggest mistake of your life. JK. I doubt it will do rated, but probably still like 750@1ohm, so not too bad. I'd personally stay away from the HFI line for Hifonics though. Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? pthrift
How cheap was the amp? Why not just buy a 2nd one if you can't return it ? Kranny
How cheap was the amp? Why not just buy a 2nd one if you can't return it ? why would you run 2 low powered amps and have them be less efficient rather than one larger amp. merk_master
I paid 130 for the amplifier. I could run a second but then it would only be running at 2 ohms which halfs the power again! Quote hopeful noob
