TheBetterMethod
Birch, because it's only one letter away from BITCH! Nah, mostly because it's lighter and stronger. It's a pain to work with though. So it depends on the situation. 2005 Subaru Outback Wagon Pioneer 9400BH Fi Q 15, SAZ1500dV3 The first build>>> http://www.stevemead...-outback-build/ 140.9 @ 36hz Sealed on dash! THEKINGsBACK
Isnt birch really expensive though? and how is it hard to work with will it strip? yuppp in nc its 19 bucks more a sheet than mdf he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
PUNKYOU007
Well, I am going to be doing some work on my Suburban shortly. I was going to use at least 3 layers of 3/4"MDF all the way around. I have never worked with birch plywood before so i have no first hand. As far as price goes, I c an get fairly good prices on it as I manage part of a building supply company. We keep MDF on hand which is good especially since I live right across the street, if I need a pc I just go get one Only birch we sell is 3/4" 15ply cabinet grade which is like $80 per sheet. Since I was planning at least 3 layers of MDF, how many layers of birch would you recommend? Its for a wall if that matters. Doethepaperboy "Bars of Pain" Doethepaperboy "Hero Remix" C.
