Boon
Good quality MDF machines better. I.e. when you're using a router. I wouldn't make tweeter rings from birch. 10.x volts fo' life!
Parentnoia
I personally cant find either in my area. But next time I see my carpenter friend I'm gonna ask him where to find it. 1999 GMC Suburban SLTNo system planned just yet. Look at "hate" spelled backwards. It spells "e-tah." For example, if you hate me you can e-tah dick.
korey_hofer
I won't touch mdf anymore, it really sucks to work with once you use birch previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.
qu1cks1lver56
BIRCH...lighter, sexier looking, better sound to me. your using actual wood...not compressed glue and saw dust. the wood has a good resonance. better gas mileage x2 I thought I was the only one with that viewpoint lol. 01 S-10
I'm confused why people are saying birch is harder to work with, I found it to be easier. TDH FTW !!!
SlamDUNKmyJUNK
Depends on what your situation is. With big builds, for sure birch. MDF is easier to work with and route's out easier, but that really depends on what your trying to do. If you don't care about money, Berch is obvi the best choice.
