May be downsizing need sub suggestions

Recommended Posts

I would do two level 3 10s or SSDs and just use one of those AQ2200s. Lift the seat 2 inches and you could have a pounding daily system

With spacers I could raise my seat up about 1 inch probably. Im trying not to make any permanent mods to the truck because I want to hold value, In just under 2 years Ill have it paid off and Im going to sell it or trade it in and grab a new 2013 silverado

I've never heard of the seat bench lifted deprecating the value....but even an inch would be a pro in the situation. That's just me though, I'd stick to some killer 10s and give them a decent ported enclosure

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Single level 5 10 on 4k should do nicely.. Or a ssa xcon 10

he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

I'd really like to do either 4 8's 2 10's or 2 12's

Im guessing Ill have about 3 cubes of airspace before displacements to work with so I may have to stick with a sealed box depending on which subs i choose

With 3 cubes before displacement I'd do the 2 10's, dc level 4's or 3's possibly some sa-10's

c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old.

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.

Also wondering if AQ 10's would be a sensible option, the sdc2.5's specs are comparable to dc lvl 3s
