so im assuming you have to run active?

Yes -- which you can do with the SAX-125.2, SAX-100.4, or SAX-200.4 -- all can band-pass crossover these.

so you have to use 2 channels on 2 of these and 2 channels on the tweets?

nice, would these work alright if i put them in my rear deck? i plan on taking the current metal that is there now out and rebuilding a deck with mdf because the current metal is ripped to shit, i was think 3-4 of these in the rear deck, then having 6.5 coax or comps in front doors

i have money waiting for 2 10" per door. very much not needed but fun ;) i was playing around with the 10" proto and actually heard it quietly ( because of crossover settings) reproduce 20HZ note but they are very good from 80hz on up if i get time i will make a vid of the proto type here that was the starting point they sound similar the production is just a little better all of the way around very very good driver they keep up with a selenium ST350 very well

"Neo-Pro Prototype 10 in a small sealed box in our shop for demo purposes. First with tweeter and relatively steep subsonic -- then with no tweeter on full range top-end and minimal subsonic filtering. Obviously my Casio camera microphone isn't the most accurate so there is a good bit of microphone distortion especially when close to the speaker."
