Google how ot make certain alts into basically a 1 wire alt. Depends on the alt...ford 3g is popular one. i just did it on my jeep...lol
THEKINGsBACK
you need a dual alt bracket... first off he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
TeamHT
 Turbo bracket? A turbo is run off of expelled gas....your alternator...not. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

97SSBlazer
your wire a second alt exactly like you would the first. Main charge wire to (+) battery, and if you have in exciter wire than that must be used as well (the plug on the back of the alt). lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz. -= 2005 Tahoe LT =-Head unit: Pioneer AVH-X5500BHSSource: iPad Mini in dash Subs: 2 T1 12's Sub Amp: T1500-1bdCPWire: Rockford Fosgate 1/0 awgSignal Cable: MonsterFronts:Stock Bose for now:)Rears: Stock Bose for now:)MIds/High amp: Stock Bose for now:) 2005 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172529-2005-tahoe-my-17th-vehicle/ 2001 Monte Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160030-2001-monte-carlo-my-16th-car-lol/page-2#entry25309381997 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemead...oe-6-15-rf-15s/2001 Impala Build Log: http://www.stevemead...katzkin-inside/
TeamHT
The wiring isn't the most important thing to worry about now. What are you trying to power? Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
PlugItIn
i didnt get an alt bracket. I made my own. and many alts will have a wire that is for the battery light in your car, you need this wire to be hooked up to an ignition power source with a resistor or light inline.
