Right measured up for both dont know what would soud best im looking at a 10 cubic foot box what you all think would sound better 6 15's or 3 12's, if you dont know the power rating the solo is 2500 rms each and the L7 are 1000 each. All though it depends on cone surface so the 15's would produce more all though the 12's would be higher rated, i listen to low bass Rap, RNB if that helps you decide better

Your definately gonna have more output using the 6 15's as long as the enclosure is on and its ported properly, given you give them the appropriate amount of power required!

Def go with the L7's.. Six 15's would be way louder, and look way cooler than 3 little 12's...

Well id think 6 15" would demand respect. but ive already bought SOLO X 12" would hard to sell on in UK. But i would soon buy 6 15" L7 if its going to make it lot louder.

simple physics my man all things being equal (power, enclosure port area) more cone space is gonna get louder!

Yea you need probably double that space for the 15's.... But if possible I would go with them as they should sound better and probably be louder as others have said. I love the way my 15" L7 hits, and I listen to about the same stuff as you.
