ROLEXrifleman Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 wish I would have seen this earlier nothing wrong with it, asides from the cost that is. The Wolff spring kit is the only " cost effective" kit that comes close but is no where as refined as this trigger group. You'll enjoy it. on that note, ill be at glock armorers cert class next Tuesday Rolex you sicken me. Just let me finish my pie ~ Juice
n8ball2013 Posted October 21, 2014 Author Report Posted October 21, 2014 Cost doesn't bother me. Between this and new sights I'm into it another half of a new glock though. I just want to get rid of that long pretravel. Since its a comp gun and nothing more I have a feeling I'll be fine. Lbox88 Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 Think I have to send a mag back to Ruger to be replaced. With the new mag, the slide fails to lock back on empty, with the old mag, no problem. Talked with the guy at the range for a bit about it and the only thing we could see different was the follower. Old Italy mag on left, new USA mag on the right. Follower fails to pop up all the way, you can feel it kind of grind lightly as you move it instead of slide easy. Even if I force it forward, it doesn't come up all the way, but after a full mag is empty it looks like the pic above. UBL | Build Log

Lbox88 Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 Already disassembled, cleaned, used my knife to lightly shave off burrs on the edge of the follower, and lubed before taking those photos. Looking around it seems a few others have run into the issue as well with the USA mags. UBL | Build Log
