Ok so I started laying sound deadner for the first time and its harder to work with than I thought, how do I get the stuff to contour to the indents and ridges ect to the metal without cutting it all up or is that the only way ??? Also any kind of pointers would be great

yeah depending on how big it is, like in the spare tire are i used strips of it on the edges and the used bigger pieces on the flat area

around the really tight areas i got the parts where i could use big pieces and the went in after with smaller pieces, it doesnt have to be 100% covered aslong as you get most of the areas covered it should be ok

its hard to see in some parts but here it is in the teg i used fatmat

100 % surface coverage is not necessary in deadening.

eh made sense to me but i guess that just means that i can use less deadener to cover more areaon my build :pardon:

The more deadener you can put the better. But there actually is a strategy behind it. Focus on doing the weaker panels first. Like for mine my roof is on thin ass sheet of metal, i'm going to put about 20sqft of damp pro on that alone.
