Brandon15zzz
Possible problems: 1) It's maxxsonics 2) Voice coil went bad 3) Bad connection at the power supply Time for the process of elimination. If you can't get it to work in your truck, try it in somebody else s car. look familiar? lol Edited February 3, 2011 by Brandon15zzz Quote Vehicle: 1995 Impala SSHead Unit: Pioneer AVH-P4400BHMids And Highs: (still deciding)Batteries: 1 Deka Group 34 Time to make a race car.My Build Log: Solo X 12"http://www.stevemead...don15zzz-build/My Build Log: DC lvl 4 xl 15"http://www.stevemead...don15zzz-build-My Wall Build Log: 4 Lanzar 15's/ 3k+ RMShttp://www.stevemead...t-by-techforce/My Feedback:http://www.stevemead...

If you can't get it to work in your truck, try it in somebody else s car. look familiar? lol I'd just assumed he checked the obvious first, a "don't know, just blew" type situation. Like mine, sounds extremely similar... and if a thorough once over of everything doesn't reveal an obvious problem, it could be a manufacturing flaw or something similar. The other thread will help u determine that. chewie
the fact that its a maxsonics is NOT the problem.. unplug your bass control knob and see if that helps.. carlosg_313
Check the amp itself and see if the small strand of the - and + wire on the sub terminal are touching each other. orionexplorer
fuses are fine and i have unpluged everything except for power ground and remote and still the same thing. i do not believe there is any wires making contact between any terminals but i will double check that.
