Jhunt94 Posted September 12, 2016 Report Share Posted September 12, 2016 Alright so pretty much ever since I've had my 80PRS I've had a small high pitched whine in my system, but it's been so faint that you couldn't really hear it. I figured that it had to do with my hu ground so this past weekend I tore apart my system to replace the ground. Now the high pitched noise is far more noticeable. Just to see if it was my rca I took a spare and ran it across the seat, and the noise is still there. Oddly when I was unplugging the rcas, for every rca I unplugged the noise got louder. Also Idk if this has anything to do with it, but when I was disconnecting everything, I had power off the headunit, and a 1.5 rca jumper I had going to my PAC LC-1 caught on fire. 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. It's tied to the frame, and I usually check it periodically to see if it has loosened. I want to say that while I was doing this I had removed power from my distro block, so there wasn't any power on the amps either, but I can't remember. 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. Cab.
