Been over this many different times,but lets go over it one more time. With the 12V batteries the D and S series batteries are the same exact battery. Only differences are the D series has blue decals and no terminals (you can buy the 580 or 586 terminals if you want), and the S series has red decals and comes with terminals. 14v and 16V S and D series are different. The S Series are the light weight racing batteries where the D series are the heavier weight versions with more reserve capacity as far as mobile audio goes. XP series is only made for secondary battery applications and not made to be used under the hood.The XP series will give you the reserve capacity you need, but does not have the instantaneous power that the D series has. You would see a difference on the meter, but probably never hear the difference in a daily use/demo vehicle.

Bought mine, used it once, now I preach the good word to anyone that will listen. No one can justify not using one of these in car audio. Its affordable as Hell, accurate, and most importantly repeatable. No one's ears are good enough to set 10/10 amps right at the limit. This thing had my gains dialed in first try, and its simple enough that right out of the box I was confidently following the directions.

What makes a driver suitable for a 4th order or not is it's EBP. EBP = 1/Qes * Fs Now that you have you EBP, you know what your speaker is suitable for! If the EBP is 100 or more, it’s best for ported boxes. (And 6th order bandpass) If the EBP is 50 or less, it’s best for sealed boxes. (And 4th order bandpass) If the EBP is between 50 & 100, it will work in either style boxes. (And either style bandpass) EBP is 51.57. Will work fine for a 4th. And you should tune that a little higher. The tuning point for 4th orders differs from typical vented boxes. The tuning point is actually the low-pass point. It will be attenuating frequencies above tuning. I say tune it around 45hz.

I got the dd1+ few weeks ago. I have used that thing more than a handful changing overlap. Only because I started to use audacity to see where my songs peak and some peak at -2db I have one that is at -1 and its not even decaf. Ill be using it again as I picked up another matching amp.
