  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEv7TZPAgZc I created this video because so many customers call/email and want to know what comes in the 40 pound mix box of B Stock Damplifier/Damplifier Pro. The product contains trimmed factory error pieces of both Damplifier and Damplifier Pro, we try to keep it more Pro than regular, the pieces are hand trimmed to remove any unusable pieces and it results in a great discounted box for dampers on a budget. The B Stock does contain pieces that may have wrinkles, uneven edges, and/or +/- 25% butyl rubber thickness but are still made from the same high quality 100% American made butyl rubber and 6.5 mil foil as the A Stock Damplifiers. B Stock products are not always in stock as they only are available upon factory errors, but they do come back in stock in burst throughout the year so always check back if they are out of stock when you first check. The 40 pound B Stock box can be found and purchased here at: http://store.secondskinaudio.com/damplifier-damplifier-pro…/ In this project I used about 15 pounds of the 40 pounds of B Stock. I only did single layer coverage as I do not have a loud bass system or loud exhaust in this vehicle. The 40 pound Box can cover between 60-90 sqft enough to the average sized car floor, doors, and trunk area. Second Skin For The Win!!!!

  4. Hey guys, The NVX Giveaway was a huge success so we thought we would do another smaller, exclusive giveaway/contest for SMD members. Second Skin did this a few years back so if this seems familiar then you’re absolutely right. We’re giving away four 12” VCWs to forum members who qualify. If you are interested you must agree to our terms and meet the following qualifications: 1. Must have at least 100 posts on this forum 2. Must own and possess an automobile that requires a subwoofer. 3. Must be willing to install all of the products we provide 4. Must build custom enclosure for the VCW 5. Must install the products within 1 month of getting them 6. Must take a minimum of 15 pictures of the installation, and post a build log on this forum, plus 1 other automotive/audio related website within 2 weeks of installing the products. 7. Cannot sell these products or use them in more than 1 car. 8. Must have a US shipping address and agree to pay for shipping charges If you agree and qualify to these terms, please post the following information in this thread: 1. Post your SMD user name 2. State that you qualify to the terms and agree to follow through with them as they are written above. 3. Post a description of your car and system 4. Post how you plan on helping promote NVX including the other website you will post your build log in. I’ll select the winners in 1 week. Good luck everyone!

  5. Holy Sh*t! I can't believe I actually won a contest finally! I NEVER win these type of things! BIG BIG THANK YOU to Sonic and SMD/Steve for this awesome contest! I can't wait to get my hands on this baby! I have been trying to get motivation to get my build going and this was the boost I needed! Now I gotta find a good box design for this sub that'll get the best performance out of it. If any of the other winners have box design info, I would greatly appreciate any help I can get! And congrats to the other winners as well! I guess that this will be the reason I post a build log finally. Its gonna be completely different than what I used to have, but life has run me through the ringer the past few years, so really I'm lucky to even have my car still. It'll be a "work with what ya got" build using what gear I've been able to gather while getting back on my feet and going to school. I think I"ll get started this weekend on getting wire ran, and maybe install the amps and some temp subs until I get my new NVX beast!

  6. Just a couple months would suffice. I'm not asking you guys to live and breathe NVX for the rest of your lives. Also, you can do whatever you want with the woofer after you've rep'd it for awhile. Just want to get some more exposure for an awesome brand
