the semi gloss paint looked good but i thought it needed to have a very small amount of texture. Just enough to make it look even more stock. I dusted it lightly from about 3' back. We knocked it down and then Jay (next door) hit it with some more semi gloss black to tame down the "sparkles" from the chip guard. This is his old wiring...of course i took it all apart and soldered/heat shrunk the new plug in place.

Brandon has been rolling with the velcro dash kit for a long time on his Samsung tablet. I bro'd him down his first one but when he got the new tablet, i told him it was time to lose the 'cro. So a few months back he ordered a side slider kit from Doug at Soundman Car Audio. We haven't had a lot of time to do it but i recently had some time to dive in and get it started for him. I had to get creative if i was going to make this happen as there is not a lot of room to work with. Check out the pics and progress here.

It's just primered. Not painted yet. Hopefully it can get shot (semi gloss black) to match the original dash piece this weekend. We ordered him a new deck since the old Eclipse has been messing up bad lately. I think we got him a Pioneer DEH 80PRS. Anyhow, here is the latest progress pics. Remember IT ISN'T DONE YET. Thanks! ?
