Just make sure you try to keep them away from direct heat, the jacket usually isn't as durable as car audio cable, and try to cover up as much copper as you can with talking off just enough sleeve and using heat shrink. If I understood what I've read correctly, because there copper wasn't produced in an oxygen free environment, they're more susceptible to internal corrosion
