  1. I really only use my iPod or pandora plus I like having the gps option
  2. I read those reviews too, that's why I been watching YouTube videos and it doesn't look that bad. Seems like thes a small delay but not as bad as they make it seem. Yea I want it for my iPhone Yeah this one only has one set of RCA outs, but that's all I need just one sub amp
  3. Anybody have experience with the app radio by pioneer that's made to integrate with iPhone? Looks pretty cool. You get radio pandora iPod basically anything on the iPhone including gps. I'm considering it for my truck
  4. Zigs are real nice and can be had on sale under 100 but I got a pair of under armors a month or two ago on sale from 80 to 50 and they are really light and comfortable good support but really flexible like Nate said a lot of running shoes now are geared towards feeling like you are barefoot. Check the clearance section at footlocker.com
  5. I just was lookin to see if there's a difference in sound between all wood and wood/glass
  6. Yeah I knew birch was better than mdf but like I said the Box will be roughly half and half wood and fiberglass
  7. It's worth a shot the only trouble is pulling a sub outta the box to stuff it pop it back in and test it out if you don't like it take the sub back out and junk the poly fill. Cheap an easy way to try and get some lower end.
  8. This is not a what's should I do what's better vs thread. I have been searching the forum and I haven't found anything on is there a difference in sound quality between an all wood box or a wood/fiberglass box or even all fiberglass. I will be attempting a wood and glass box for my spring/summer build but I haven't found anything on the sound quality of fiberglass. Any input? I'm guessing the thicker more dense you make the glass part the better. Just wondering if I will be sacrificing any sq. box will be sealed and depending on how much airspace I can get from it I may do a little poly fill experimenting.
  9. You shouldbe fine man. Subs facing opposite directions like that isn't IDEAL but it will be fine, no need to reverse polarity that statement just makes no sense. I wouldn't put it on the front if it's gonna be hitting your elbow. In my ext cab I've found under my rear seat downfire sounds a little better than up. I'm guessing because of the loading off the floor things, I'm not sure on that but I've done a few things in my truck with subs facing different ways and was never disappointed with it. Plus it sounds like you don't have many other options.
  10. Absolutely no circle jerks nothing even close to that or toothpaste in th ass. Your team was really gay... Wow... But yeah high school hockey for me was the funniest hockey and Time. My senior year we were real good we won the central Massachusetts championship and got to play for the state championship. But yeah my favorite team, obviously the bruins, I'm diehard patriots and bruins, could care less about th clerics or redsox I hate basketball and baseball
  11. Yeah there are a lot of weirdos that I played hockey with over the years. I know exactly what you mean. I was NOT one of them but I always had so much fun playing
  12. Dope, probably won't be your last, I love hockey been playing since I was 3 and 1/2 . I've been to somewhere around 100 bruins games in my life. Hockey's really entertaining. Hits fights goals crazy moves laser fast shots.
  13. Ha I'm quite aware but its too freakin cold outside and i'm feelin too lazy to put on 3 under armors and 2 coats to go do it lol good god. its 60* here in cali but it was in the 70s last week. I need to live in Cali
  14. 12 volt drill battery or 14 volt I have Hilti 14.4 v either will work all good for testing woofer polarity too
  15. isnt that the same thing? 1st off, you dont need it unless you like to sit with the car off, playing your system until the battery dies. if you are smart enough to not do that, you dont need one. 2nd. if it was working in his car until you pulled it out. then im sure it still works. last, put power to the coil on the relay then take a dmm and measure resistance across the two poles. if you get a reading, it works. you should also feel the click from the relay when you power the coil. Perfect answer
  16. If the voltage is all good and connections are good seems like its an internal amp problem but I would triple check your grounds maybe the wire is loose from the ring terminal or however you connected it to the frame or it's dirty and not making good connection rule out all the easy stuff
  17. Cool thanks for the help and info I'll be talking to you if I need it swapped
  18. How do you determine that by the pins in the plug? And if it isn't th proper regulator is that something you could modify for me or would I need a new alt?
  19. 2012 silverado 5.3 l engine same truck just newer, that's cool just figured I'd ask didn't know if there was something you could do with it or a way to use it on the new truck
  20. Was wondering if you guys would take a trade in I have an Iraggi for my 06 silverado and I'll be getting a new truck soon didn't know if it's something you could change to fit the new truck for me or if you could use it or do something with it possibly a credit towards an alt for the new truck?njust throwing it out there don't know if you have been asked this before? Just curious if the alt I have now could be rebuilt to fit a new truck by you or get me some money towards a new one or if I should just try and sell it used for a few bucks
  21. If the seat mount are anything like the ones in my truck now I should also be able to use washers to raise the rear seat about 3/4" to 1" to gain a little extra sPace down there
  22. If I stay sealed I just need 2.4 ^3 after displacement I'll have 1.95 recommended sealed specs the hardest part might be getting the room to mount the subs . I think I'll be able to get the airspace if I do a lot of glassing
