  1. That is definitely one of my favorite videos of yours Steve. All the old school tracks are proven winners and it's scary I recognise most of the intros to the songs you were flipping through
  2. That's a tornado of air in there for sure Steve! This monster is angry! I heard the name slip too
  3. Charger

    Chicken

It's freezing cold right here. No drank for me, it's 6AM and on my way to work. Maybe tonight
  4. Sometimes I ask myself why :S Still to come up with a real reason, I am just addicted to the vibrations going through my bones.
  5. Should have excellent SQ . Will look forward to seeing it.
  6. Lol @ Young Lucky made me crack up! Seems he really enjoyed it though! I love your dash flex, that's insane!
  7. Looks great Steve! I'm a big fan of wood wheels but it's a shame it doesn't suit this install. I bet you've got a black leather wrapped job planned
  8. Somewhere between 30 and 35Hz. I started with 45Hz tuning and kept adding length to the port until I got the output I wanted from it and authority on the low notes. It peaked incar at 39/40Hz. It worked well.
  9. Go the 9900 off the T4000. I had the same setup at once stage and it went very nicely.
  10. Either way you should be very very happy with it. The DD might be easier to obtain parts ie. recones if you accidently damage it.
  11. Ran my 9915 off 5000wrms on music and it loved it. Really shone. If you go for the latest series 9500 series woofer it should have no drama handling serious power. The benifit I can see with the DD gear is it is actually available in Australia. The BTL would be rather difficult to get ahold of. Your Patrol could be a good SSNW car, is it a Shorty or LWB?
  12. Scraper/razor all the way. Make sure it's sharp and and don't scratch the windows!!
  13. I'm telling ya sign up to mobileelectronics.com.au and check out the forums trading section. You can pick up tonnes of second hand DD gear in Aus there ridiculously cheap and you're guaranteed it to be loud as FUCK! They also also sound great. For great value batteries definitely hit up Absorbed Power, they have sizes from ones you can fit in the palm of your hand all the way up to ones that need two blokes to lift them! And they are all hi quality AGMs!
  14. Those were a great sub. I still miss those years from Kicker
  15. Are you a member of MEA? There are plenty of brands that have great gear right on your doorstep that have already come from the U.S. 110dB is quiet as hell, I roll around in a 150+ daily driver and it's not even loud. Join up to the MEA forums are you will get alot more relevant help about what actually is available in our country (No offense to you SMD guys, you do a kickass job!!)
  16. What happened yesterday Steve? Seems I'm a bit out of 'the loop' PS: I still remember you from the meadestyle916 early days in Termpro!
  17. Found this while browsing youtube, you know alot of people have been searching your vids when you see your name pop up in the suggestion box Steve!
  18. The clutch and gears in my Troopa slip like crazy on hill starts. I think the weight *might* be starting to have an impact on the ride. Not to mention the 1300 pound she drags round daily
  19. That is mad as hell. You gotta roll that thing with a kickass system. Go a big ass 15" with heaps of full range speakers to attract attention at shows! One of my buddies has a toilet on wheels with a DD 9915 and Z1a sub and DD Coaxials Another guy has a motorised wheelbarrow with 20,000wrms, NOS and DVD screen LOL! Sorry for the threadjack if you want the pictures down let me know
  20. This is great. I often flip back and read from the early stages just to watch the awesome skills in work. Can't wait to see what's next!
  21. Wow that actually looks great! Excellent design.
  22. Hell yeah mate, she sounds like a real biatch Car audio is much more fun and probably cheaper in the long run too....
