I would build a good box and keep your car practical. I don't want to sound harsh but if you can't get the simple box you have now loud, a clamshell or wall isn't child's play and has alot or room for error. Could you post up some pics and specs for your current box?

The one my buddy and I built was tuned to 25Hz or even lower. Peaked at 34Hz.

I think Steve should leave it how it is. The people asking to change can buy the same gear and spend months and months to try to make an install even 1/2 as good and wire it up how they like once they're done. That's if they could even afford 1/4 of what's gone into it. Not having a dig at anyone just saying how it is.

Wow! I only have like 13 or so T-Hunts. But I only ever buy them from regular stores so they are hard to find around here. My best was finding three in the same dept. store in one day, score!

I would leave it how it is. It's a beautiful, clean install with some excellent old school gear. Especially those PG amps.

Exactly right. Sometimes bracing will cause destructive turbulence. Well what I should say, all bracing adds turbulence but some may not be noticeable at all. Some might totally kill your airflow, eg. if you put a big 2x4 in front of your port it won't be doing any good.
