I am in the same situation, mine was under the passenger seat, but now it's going in the rear hatch. It's a shame they have that loading door for the discs, makes it impossible to flush mount them in the glovebox or similar place.

Anyone know where to buy a universal harness (Eclipse molex to video RCA) to be able to connect a normal rear camera to the Eclipse AVN units? I missed out on the ebay source and he has no more, I can not find any on the internet, and don't want to buy the $185 Eclipse camera as I already have a camera custom mounted where my rear hatch keyhole used to be.
