  1. Gotta seal up them holes brotha. Im having the same problem right now. Do that first before spending money on new speakers.
  2. why not? im unaware. I did the same thing he did on my 100.4 and no problems...unless im missing something.
  3. You can wire it and it will play but it will be underpowered. Most logical way would be to run each set of comps on its own channel, Then to bridge the subs on the last 2 channels. It will work but be underpowered unless this one one of the powerhouse amps they put out.
  4. this is me and Jill's 2nd year together. I have something special planned for the night.
  5. JVC makes some neat stuff. 2 volt pre outs arent that bad in reference to alpines. Only thing i dont like about the 9886 is that the ipod function is slow.
  6. He's just a kid he wants a functional box....so doing what the company recommends would be the best bet.
  7. We can't help you design the box with a cut sheet if we don't know what we're working with. The last wedge box doesn't really help, it was probably prefab and sealed. If you make a big wedge box that goes all the way across the back wall then it may work, but again we either need a pic with dimensions or just dimensions. Ther former being better. That amp won't put out enough to power those 2 se's fully. Maybe try to save your parents a little cash and just run one sub. Don't underestimate them in single numbers. It's a pretty beefy sub.
  8. Go get some dimensions of the usable space in the back and post them up here. once you do that someone can help you with a box design since it's going to have to be ported. You may have to bump down to 10s. The se is a nice all around sub. What amp are they offering?
  9. i was feeling lazy. Dont run those subs sealed. The smallest ported box they recommend for the 12s is 1.5 per sub @ 35hz. so you're looking at a pretty big box. Aside from that how much money do you have for this?
  10. most of this site is sleeping broski. Just a heads up.
  11. There.....refers to placement....over there.... Their...refers to ownership...their car... They're...refers to they are....
  12. I usually hire this guy to watch over my car. But for real. Of course most thieves can get the things you try to protect. The point is to try and slow him down. He doesn't want to do it all night, and a lot of the time ends up damaging your equipment. An alarm is key in slowing him down, along with a frustrating long dis assembly of everything inside.
  13. He will definitely hear rear speakers in a hatch. If he was going for sq he wouldnt know where the bass was coming from.
  14. I could listen to BTNH all day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3BJGHPdh8E
