2 months isnt that long of a wait, but no they arent. But in the long run if hes looking for the best bang for your buck, its worth the wait.

why does jake recommend 30 hz? i guess my question is, how would output at around 50 hz sound when tuned that low with an 8?

just looking for a simple box for a sundown E8. Want it tuned for everyday listening, with an emphasis on rock. i was thinking maybe 38 hz. general dimensions I have are 20.5 wide, 23 long (like front to back of car), and 9.25 tall. This is going in a stealth hatch....I was thinking sub back port up....but who knows. would like to go aero ports if possible....I have a 6 inch one laying around. Thanks guys.

Not sure on the Kenwoods either, but check where it it clips from the deck at +15. +15 should yield the highest pre out voltage if im not mistaken.

I dont think you can hear the difference in SQ from .7 to 1 ohm honestly, unlesss you were clipping or your subs couldnt take it. Impedence rise should keep overall resistance above 1 ohm anyhow. Check out some of Jacobs tests...Good luck
