lol at you OP: HCCA's can get hella low.. Just watch this vid. -
SRI = Short ram intake. Even with them holes there I'm assuming there is still the engine heat present around the filter itself. Like the stock intake box probably connected to that hole on the side of the fender, which goes down into he fenderwell. But I guess it ain't really a concern if you don't want it to be. lol I didn't notice any difference going from a SRI to a CAI. But then again I have a lil 2.3L 4cyl. lol http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Spectre-8810-Modular-Cold-Air-Intake-Mock-Up-Kit-CAI-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem4aa44093fcQQitemZ320583275516#ht_500wt_956 That ^^^ is something you can use if you really wanted to route a true CAI for your Buick. Mock it up then go to Oreillys/Autozone then get the pieces you need. No prob.

Where do you plan on putting this filter after its all said and done? In the fenderwell? Or are you just gonna allow more hot air into the engine by leaving it as a SRI? Spectre brand makes a great mock up kit to design an intake that fits your vehicle. So you know which pieces you need. That is if you can't find any intake kit of Ebay. Stick with a known filter though.

Maybe Rockford Fosgate P3S? -
Vehicle - 1986 Chevy S10, 2.5L 4 cyl, TBI, OHV. Hydraulic lifters Okay so I have the head off the motor cause the head gasket needed changing. But one of the rockers was really loose but the bolt was torqued to spec... I suspect a sticky lifter. So today since I have the head off I decided to pull the pushrod cover and pull the suspected sticky lifter. BTW its an exhaust lifter. The lifter wasn't mushroomed at the bottom nor was it difficult to remove. Slide right out. The others seem the same way. Oil was present around and inside the lifter. I cleaned it up and one side near the bottom of lifter has a little and I mean little scuff on it. The little roller on the cam side spun good. Nothing broke or anything. To get to the question, how do I check to see if a lifter is stuck in a certain position? I do have the lifter out and I can remove all of them if need be.

X2 on DC Audio woofers. edit: Do you currently have a box? Are you gonna build one or??? What size woofers were you looking for? Someone might suggest a woofer like a 15 or 18 that may be to large for the application.

For burps, yeah. Not for daily though.

Am I safe?

It's just what the amplifier and batt were seeing at the time of drop. I personally would have it hooked to monitor the amp to ensure it ain't dipping to low. Of course a 2nd batt. and H.O. alt would certainly get rid of that problem of drop. -

I checked mine at the amplifier and hooked the meter up to the amplifier so I can somewhat watch what the amp sees for voltage. But its your choice really. -
Electrical question

Add a battery in the spare tire well if you can. A batt like this should work for you along with a H.O. alt. -

Get a quality DMM to check your voltage so you can properly set your Stinger voltage meter. Check before you set, during, and after to ensure the meter is seeing the right number. -

If you plan to upgrade in the future get the H.O. alt AND 2nd batt. But if not a H.O. alt wouldn't hurt. To answer your question, no you won't have to change your fuses.
