  1. The A spot is where you want to add your wires on to. The B spot that you labeled looks like the alternator socket. That has nothing to do with the big3 so dont worry about that. As far as where the stock wiring runs, fuck it. Its just Honda's was of cleaning up the engine bay, they just weave it around the engine in order to make it looks a little neater and such. Just do the straited and more direct path that is or course out of harms way as well. You need to upgrade the alternator + to the battery + Battery - to the frame Battery - to the engine block And if you want you can do the fuse blocks which are battery + to fuse left and alternator to fuse right (double check your layout to make sure left and right fuse block spots) And when you put the ring terminals on, take off about 1/2" of the cable sleeve to expose the bare wire. Take the ring terminal and dont twist it up, just pinch it together at the tip and slide it in the bottom end of the terminal. Take a hammer and hit the middle of the ring terminal on the front where the two ends meet. This will push them into the wire. Then turn the terminal on its side and hit it from the side so that one of the sides will go underneath the other making a nice tight hug around the wire. I really advise this part so that the terminals do not slip out.... Heat up the end of the ring terminal with a blow torch (a hand held one from HD or Lowes will work, its what i used) and then heat up that fucker for about a minute making sure its hot as hell. Then quickly, take about a 2 ft piece of solder and push it into the front of the terminal where the wire is. This will melt the solder and let it drip down into the wire forming a nice bond between the wire and terminal so that it will NOT fall out when driving. Check out Meade's thread about how to do it with pictures. Good luck man, its really easier than you think its going to be.
  2. more posts = more car audio knowledge... at least at CA.com it does
  3. Thanks man. It was really a simple upgrade for sure. Kinda dreaded it but only took like 3 hours total work for the alt and wiring. But yea Honda's are weird when it comes to wiring. Like lets you say you are at a light and your voltage is at a steady 14.5 then you get to about 40mph, the car will kick back the rpms and you will be at around 1500 rpm or a little less. Then after like 10 seconds, its almost as if your alternator goes into sleep mode because the voltages will instantly go to around 12.6 or so. So instead of revving the engine, I just push in the window buttons if the windows are already down, or pull the buttons up if they are already up so it will do a small voltage surge and kick the alternator back in. Kind of a weird concept of how the alt kinda dulls out while cruising but oh well, its just something you have to live with lol
  4. Wait a minute, I missed the part where you said it was an 06. I thought you said it was a 2000 lol. If you want, I will look up what alternator that uses at work and give you some specs on it.
  5. I literally just did the big 3 on my 2000 4cl accord. It was a real breeze if you ask me. Your alternator is a Delphi 130amp alternator. That alternator that Honda used is junk. They are always being replaced at work compared to the nippondenso 80amp alts that the 4cl uses. I know that iraggi makes some alternators for your car. I just bought one for my car and it works like a dream. The big 3 is relatively easy and I know what you mean by all the branching wires, But you do not have to follow them with the new upgraded wire. Just run the wire the shortest way possible and out of the way of the accessories and headers/throttle body. This is my big 3 plus upgraded fuse box wires...
  6. I dont think you are quite understanding what an alternator actually does. You can sit at that voltage without being at that RPM level. What happens at 2k rms is the alternator pulley is spinning faster creating more amperage. At 2k rpm, your alt will be at its max output which is 200amps If you are just sitting there with your system off but car running, you will still sit at 14.4 volts, you dont have to be at 2krpm to do this. All that an alternator does is charge the battery. Your really do not want to rely on your alternator to keep supplying a battery. You want to have some sort of decent storage as a reserve. As your batteries begin to get low, that power created from the alternator will begin to be recharged into your battery(ies) If you havent done so already you should invest in a new battery under the hood. For what you are running, you shouldnt need any other batteries in the trunk. Check out a Kinetik 1800 as a starting battery.
  7. I can vouch for bass junkie and say that sometimes you simply cannot get the closing job done in a half an hour. I use to work for a subway and most of the time, yes you can get it done in a half an hour depending on how much cleanup work was done prior to closing. It really all depends on when the last customers come in. I mean you have to shut everything down, do counts on every single thing in the store (bread, meat, chips, all that jazz) You as well have to total up all of the credit slips and make sure that they match up, you have to match up your food counts with what was sold. Sometimes you do make a small error and you have to re do a count. We are all human. Not to mention the floors have to be swept and mopped, dishes have to be cleaned. All of the food has to be stored away in the walk-ins. The deli fridge has to be cleaned out along with the hot wells. There really is more to closing a subway down than you might actually think if you have never worked at one. Now my subway was I would say medium busy, and thats what we had to do. So imagine if he works at a high volume one, the counts are going to be higher, the credit slips are going to be bigger, the cash in the drawer will be more, there will be more floor space to clean, more tables and benches to clean. I would say that if you cant get the closing stuff done in an hour past the closing time then yes, you are more than likely slacking but a half an hour is REALLY cutting it as far as time goes
  8. King just play it off like you meant to hit 3 instead of 4 lol
  9. Hells yes. 12 pm pacific. I wont be up at 3 am eastern time.
  10. Hell if you only have a $70 budget right now, Ill let it go for that...

Let me know if you want to see some pics and whatnot
  12. Seriously guys. Let him sell his account. Its not a big deal, not breaking any laws by doing so. Yes it may be against the "rules" I just hate when people hop on someone elses balls like they themselves have never done anything against the rules. Im sure you play your stereo breaking the law of noise violations almost daily. Get off his back.
  13. I believe I had the same exact subs as you. They were the black with yellow accents in the "Livin Loud" box except mine was to a pioneer 800w amp.
  14. Wow deafy that the most serious thing I have ever heard from you. Very good advice as well I might add. I mean dont give up completely. Maybe go to half the shows you are now and take the other half to work on your truck.
  15. Send it back. It might come back on him later down the road.
  16. Probably an issue with the preamp volts that his sony HU has. Take a look at the Clarion DXZ585USB Has 3 channel 6v outputs
  17. Seriously, quit hoppin on the guys balls. I mean for god's sake he came to up hoping we of all people could help him. Maybe he cant spell or punctuate, whatever. Who gives a fuck. Hes obviously upset so dont sit here and be an asshole about it and make fun of him. In all honesty, dont blow up. Thats the last thing a girl ever wants is for you to blow up on them. God forbid you do it to them but they can to you all the time. But my best advice would be to call her when you know there wont be any distractions and talk to her about whats going on. Tell her you are upset about the way things have been lately between the two of you. Ask her to meet up so that you can talk face to face, adult to adult. Dont accuse her of anything, just ask her whats been going on lately and tell her how you feel. Listen to what she has to say. Maybe something has been going on and you just simply havent noticed it. Best advice is be calm about it and be cool
