Thinking about putting my old 2x JBL GT122D subs in the trunk. According to JBL Manual, they only handle "280W Peak Power" each. There is no RMS value in the manual wtf?

I got my Alpha Damp the other day. It gave me goosebumps just seeing how well it was wrapped and how perfect the sheets were compared to the B-stock Damp Pro that I bought a while back. I'll start my Alpha Damp deadening project later end of next week and post up pictures I"m now trying to decide if I should deaden the rear deck, or the entire trunk floor. Right now I currently have the sub box shooting into the cabin, so would deadening the trunk floor be any good? Advice is appreciated. I also have rear speakers right now. Part of my back floor seat area stil have the old eDead vse^2 deadening. -
I might get some after I apply my Alpha Damp. I hope this sale lasts </

Thinkng about getting all of my windows tinted except the windshield. However, Oregon law will only let me do 35% tint. Thoughts? I was qouted $245 from a reputable shop.

If you're willing to risk a fine, than go for it. haha, I, personally, don't have a job, so if that happens to me, I'm a bit SOL. Where do you live? Different counties/cities may be more or less lenient (for all I know)..

I haven't screw down those speakers yet or even applied any deadening. The rear speakers look clean because of the stock black cover thing haha.

I found out why my speakers didn't sound as good off the PPI P900.4. I had my HPF turned the wrong direction on the amp. I use my headunit to tune everything (125hz HPF), but on the amp it was turned the other direction so everything was filtered out lol! Anyhow, I've retuned the front and rear speakers to all get ~150W and everything sounds a lot better and louder now. I still have to get more listening time before I decide on if the SQ of the PPI P900.4 is better than my eD NiNe.2. As of now, I think I'm getting a tiny noise, but I don't think that makes sense because I've upgraded new Knu RCA cables (more expensive ones) and only added 2 more runs of speaker wires for the rear. Here are the pictures! I know the wiring is a mess o_0.

Rear speaker fill is nice if you listen to trance music, but if you listen to rap, the bass pretty much drowns it.

I used a 1k hz @ 0db tone. I will retune it again tonight to give my unity's 145w. I'm kinda liking having rear speakers in the back

Finally got my new Knu RCA runs and speaker wire runs back to the trunk for the 4 channel amp. I've never used a 4 channel amp before... I think I'm tuning it wrong because it's not as loud as my eD NiNe.2. What should my voltage reading be if I want 2x100W for the rear speakers? (20V*20V)/4Ohm = 100W? It doesn't seem right because my oscope doesn't show clipping even if I turn it over 40V.

Since I can't fit all 4 runs of 1/0 through the left side of car, I'm thinking about putting two of the 1/0 runs through the middle with my RCA's + Speakerwire+remote wire. Thoughts?

If you have higher quality RCAs I doubt there will be a issue. But I always run them separate. Don't want to take a chance lol.

Thanks for the advice. I'll just run 2x positive on the left driver side and 2x ground through the middle with the rca's and other stuff.

Here's an update: I just got my baffles today for the rear and I'm going to now install the rear speaker as well as swap my eD NiNe.2 for the PPI P900.4. It will be PPI P900.4 powering DLS MS6A (Rear) and HA Unity (Front Doors). Stay tuned for more pictures! I have a question for you all. I'm thinking about not screwing down the baffle to the rear but instead, I'm going to use my leftover Second Skin Audio Damplifier Pro to tape it down. I mean, the Damp Pro is pretty strong stuff, would I get away with this? Comments please

Sorry bro, I"m using all of the 100ft of my knu wire. The reason I decided to also get the new shok wire later on is for the wiring in my trunk for the amps and such. I also wanted to make my runs from the hood to trunk to be ~20ft each so I don't have to worry about not having long enough wires
