  1. The car is sick no doubt. I'm with you though Randal, the A-Pillars just seemed a little sub par from the rest of the install. Don't get me wrong... I would have it!
  2. Yep- I had to do this at Autozone. I took in my existing belt and told them I need one shorter. Hopefully you can find someone behind the desk that is helpful. The guy who helped me had to make several trips back and forth, but they found one that was spot on. Just compare it to the one you have and put them side by side until you find the right one. IMO, that would be easiest for you too.
  3. That looks FUN! Can't say say you would break any records or whatnot, but it would be a low end monster and an eye catcher.
  4. Really good point. I don't even go to many shows, but I find myself falling into this habit too. No doubt, most of us have music libraries in the thousands of songs- you wouldn't think it would be too hard to play different tracks.
  5. Best ones I have heard were bounced off the windshield- less fatiguing to the ear. But yeah, try them out before you get to cutting.
  6. I have one, but I seldom use it anymore. I used to be really big into it. Still fun from time to time though-
  7. Spot on. I've taken this line from a guy I work with as well. It really came home with the wife and I had a kid.
  8. I got 99 Problems but a sound clip ain't one. Sorry- I had to. I know exactly what you mean DylanH. They sound sick when tuned right.
  9. I bet she does a 120. How are you going to do the front? Is the entire diamond going to be open or are you going to choke it down a bit? Guess it all depends on your tuning and what you are going for. Looks very solid and well thought out! Tuned in.
  10. Ha! Yeah, like one of the YouTube comments said- Hope it was worth it. Hope that fool fixed that poor Camaro after that.
  11. AutoZone Platnum Battery. They are AGM batts- and I'm pretty sure they are rebranded DEKA batteries. @ $150, 3 year free replacement at any AutoZone around America.
  12. I agree. I think you might not have replaced the starter wire. This. Many cars are wired with the factory alt to the starter, the starter to the battery. There is no telling what the factory wire goes to- a relay, the starter itself or whatever. Hook it back up and have the factory plus your big 3. Just make sure your new alt to battery is fused with an appropriate sized fuse.
  13. Yep. Agreed. This is why I use Line Driver EQs that put out 12 volts. LOL!!! And set everything up with an O-Scope. Some equipment likes it, and some does NOT. Just have to mess with it to find out.
  14. But... 4 is bigger than 2!! Nah- like everyone said, you just match your amps to the new RCA outputs. Higher voltage helps with distortion (like has been said) and helps keep voltage up if split to multiple amps.
  15. Nah- that is the Vega series. The Strokers had a different magnet and basket. Stroker: Vega Series:
  16. I HATE that vid- just because it is an Old School Cerwin-Vega just like the ones I run. I can't tell for sure, but that looks like that could be a 15. ....but still, pretty cool. Now I know a wall socket isn't a good Idea on the CVs. hehehe
  17. I want to say hat is Charlie Murphy, but Sam Jackson does voice some stuff. Uncle Rukus has me rollin'- junk is so wrong. That and all of the Ninja stuff they do all the time.
  18. He drove a long way to get to Scrapin'. And yeah, he was straight brutal. Bo is a great guy. He let me borrow his thumb drive to play a sanctioned track. He actually watched for me and when I got in the lane let me use it- he even set the track up and everything. A class act- one of the guys that makes this whole thing fun. Congrats to Bo on the score!
  19. Seriously. It isn't like you guys shot out in front of him in the dredge....
  20. Let me start by saying Much respect to you guys who work in that. I don't know how you guys manage doing that daily. Have you tried "Florida Water" ?? http://forums.finehomebuilding.com/breaktime/general-discussion/recipe-florida-water-keep-cool ^ that is the only link I can find on the quick. Basically you add just a bit of it to cool water, dip a rag in it and keep the rag around your neck. The "Florida Water" evaporates more quickly than water, giving it even better cooling properties. Think of it like menthol for your sweat. Sounds kind of crazy, but works like a champ.
