Someone play this and make a vid!! FYI- the bass notes are: 25, 26, 28, 33, 36, 42 (lots of that) and a quick 49 hz bump.

Yep, or touching the stud and the case of the alt (direct ground). Could you have over torqued something on your alt stud? If so and the isolator between the alt stud and the alt case is compromised, then you will have a direct short.

Your amp is coming on and powering up before your HU puts out any output through your RCAs. Amp is already on and then your HU puts out signal and POP! Either replace the HU or get or make a delay device that makes your HU come on and gives your amps a few seconds of delay. Then the pop will stop. I had this problem as well. Also- Different types of amps come on and go off at different times. Really annoying. I use 2 really really old MTX LSB-1 bass processors with turn on/off delay to fix it.

Yeah, it is pretty fun. The wifey and I have Roth IRAs with mutual funds, and I also have a 401k. It is fun to watch it go up. But it really sucks to watch it when it drops like a rock. Last year and the year before that, it hurt my feelings bad to log in and see that I had "lost" like 1k one day, another 2k the next and so on.... But the beauty of mutual funds- you leave them alone long enough (as in 4-5 years) you will make a profit. I am back up now. Single stocks look fun, but I wouldn't do that with serious money or my retirement. I would leave that to the pros who do the Mutual Funds. But for fun money (almost like the casino), it is pretty cool.

This is what one of mine did some time ago: One of our other cats kept on getting in the port and getting all cozy in there- unplugging the wires and so on. I got sick of that and burped a 40hz tone. Out she came and we don't have that problem any more.

x2 I have a 9mm Hi-Point Carbine that I really like. I have a cousin who deals in and lives and breathes $1,000 guns. He hates my Hi-Point. Thinks it is total crap and bla bla bla.... But for what I use it for, there is nothing I can't hit with it. I like it. Just know what you have though. I mean, it isn't like you are going to go into gun or accuracy comps with it. If you just want it to have, that is something else all together. Personally, I don't see the point of getting a $1,000 gun unless you are going to use it for comps. To me, it is the same thing with audio. I say if you like it, go for it.
