    we had a deal to trade amps plus cash, great communication, maybe too good , i had a little trouble keeping up on time constraints due to unscheduled events and set-backs, and was flexible in that reguard. good guy here ...wouldnt hesitate to do business again

    even though it maybe overrated, it could be a godsend by blowing sooner

    alright listen, if you know when a sub is at its limits ie thermally or mechanically, and you adjust accordingly, you will be fine. only problem i see ''maybe'' is if the clues havent cured fully after a recone or something and you hammer on it while still wet. you should be able to lean on it from the start without problems. personally, ill take a DD even though it says ''break in'' go full rich on it right away and have no problems. people that dont know what to look for will be the ones to have problems

    can you do it physically..sure. should you do it...absolutely not. running off 1 coil changes the T/S parameters and completely changes how the sub will perform. you will usually get a muddy, sloppy bass performance out of it. its a waste of time and equipment. dont do it
