    240 watts is a decent amount of power. And in a good enclosure, will have good output.

    Think that cost a lot, try the Audiocontrol. Lol. It is a stand alone, meaning doesn't need anything else like the termlab. But still, termlab is the only way to go. Regardless if there is a meter only .1 off, it will not hold real proof, as almost all standards are set by the Termlab. I hope to own one soon, they can be very addicting. Number chasing can be quiet fun.

    Made in the USA, that's why it cost more. Plus its real good quality from what I hear. And by performance, you mean loudness? I don't know, I'm just not a fan of them. I'd rather spend my money a little better.

    Zed Audio has a nice one. I think its a 5 channel. Lol. Plus its Made in the USA. Check out SSA.com store. But why crescendo door speakers? Are you talking the components?

    They can, but for not long periods of time. They are rated 600 for a reason. Also, there are other factors to being able to handle that much power. Box size is the main one. Honestly, I don't think you will gain much SPL, cause of power compression and such. Plus with 2000+rms, its possible you will have to upgrade your electrical. I'm not sure what all you have now, but if its stock, upgrades are probably in order. Just my opinion. I honestly don't think its worth it.

    I liked strapped, simply because you only have to worry about setting one amp. IIRC you need D1's for a final load of 2ohms, then after strapping, 1ohm. I think I'm doing the wiring correctly. This is in my head. Check a wiring guide, a few websites have them.

    Why upgrade? Those subs won't like the 2200d. Sure, they will take it, but will probably get smelly fast. A 1200d and 2 SA's is pretty much a good match already.

    You can get Sundown's for 280 shipped... I've even seen em sold for 250. So. Sundown>BB2400.1 But Crunch GP3000Dpro was a good 3000 RMS amp for 350-400.

    I've tested this amp against a Sundown 1500d, and the Sundown was louder.

    Bigger Q? Nah. It should be a more SQ driver than a Q actually, from what I hear. So a lightweight more SQ Q. That would describe it well.

    I can assure the DC 5K is more powerful than the AQ 3.5. I'm surprised they the same size though.
