  1. Oh man Chode better not make this a X rated thread, my gf was liking those videos.. lol
  2. the second one was funnier haha
  3. I wont touch international sales
  4. of course 12-15s would sound good in about any design, but how many systems do you know that was doing a 154 sealed with 6,000watts? Not sure on the exact watts, I think he has 2- Dc Audio 3000Ds when I heard it, switched up to SD 3500s I think after That is about 500w each sub I have heard 6-15s, 4-15s, even more with 2, 3, 4, 5 times the power the DCs were getting, about as loud but in ported or bandpass enclosures, and NOT sound as musical, or low as Preston's
  5. MrPs jeep is one of the only vehicles I sat in where its actually painful, feels good, low, and sounds great, but theres a point you cant breath, cant hear, and you get tossed around like a rag doll sealed I was really impressed
  6. Funny? I was posting it for its romantic catch, its a good song lol
  7. I have that amp, and it just doesn't put out the power you want sealed in a ported box, you may get better output, but even free air you will only get about 1/4" of excursion if that. I got lucky with that amp and a 18" I made that just had super soft suspension. But bottom line, that set up, I would do ported, and tune it low
  8. dude, Elvis died in 1977??? Ohhh Roseville Gangsta Elvis haha Happy Birthday dude
  9. I used to be Bose certified back from 98' - 2000 and I was good friends with the Bose rep who was at the store about 3 days a week. We had a theater for Bose, seats about 25-30 people. The trick was, we have people sit through a 20 min movie about Sound, and Bose history. When the movie is on, on the front stage there is some old tower speakers, pretty large, and bulky, about 5ft tall. Made it sound like the movie was playing from those towers Anyways, the trick was, show is over, light turn on the satellite speakers, the 5 jewel cubes, and everyone is impressed- Wow, so much sound from such small speakers Yes they were impressive, but the room is 100% designed for optimum performance with these jewel cubes, and acoustimass module. But the truth is, there is a second set, identical to what was shown playing, behind all the curtains which pretty much doubled the sound, bass, everything. The thing is, these theaters were standard Bose theaters... Another thing is, Bose, its not designed for the average consumer, its designed for the elderly music listener, or women. Men, the older men get, we get to sensitive to treble, and low bass, so with Bose- No highs, no Lows, must be Bose? 100% true Designed for elderly men, and women over 35- 40 I believe it was, they have the same sensitivity to sound as a 50+ year old man I didnt read that website, but Iam sure its pretty accurate on Bose theories Bottom line is, not even bother with Bose unless your getting older
  10. round or square? I personally would roll with the square before the round, but that is in a different time and dimension

  13. I personally like what Jag said, I like the slim/sliver look of some deville lights
  14. or you can just say fuk it, buy a quart of electronic epoxy and coat the back side, and all the components of the PC Board.. lol I never seen anyone do that yet, but if its good enough for NASA, well, ya know
  15. Its a Massive brand, it was posted up on SMD a few times. I know its in the 2k price range But its the dual coil, dual gap design, spider on the bottom The electromagnetic concept isn't that good, thats why it was used long time ago There is 2 ways to do this, and either way is impractical 1 VC outside a smaller vc, tight gap, the coil on the outside doesn't move, but receives the opposite current the moving coil receives This would be inefficient, this way, you would probably have a subwoofer that has a eff of like 70-75db 1 watt 1 meter and then need twice as much power as any other woofer to get to be even usable really Then you have the actual electromagnet concept Say you have 120v going to the electromagnet, then 2000watts going to the voice coil well, it would work, but imagine all the power supplies running to just get a coil to move, wattage, plus voltage, amplifiers, plus power converters
  16. You make it sound like they are good amps? Those are the bottom of the line amps for those manufacturers K-Mart or Fleamarket status there bud
  17. funny vid, that other guy wasn't even involved, and still got knocked on
  18. just email me at: [email protected] Iam heading out to the hot steamy garage for awhile
  19. Yeah, its similar, but has more height between motor and spider, and I think was called diamond cut its not brand new, has some glue and stuff on it, but I can clean it up The 4 spokes are just about brand new
  20. besides the 12 spoke? I have 4 spoke chrome 10" 4 spoke grey 12" 1 AQ 12" frame Why not the 12 spoke ? that is the most flexible frame on the market
  21. nothin wrong with lady gaga, I bump her music- windows up, but none the less, she has some good stuff The telephone song is her best
  22. edit about the impedance, I think the newest ones were dual 2ohms, the first gens were 3ohms They also had a SPL cartridge you could buy that was triple 3ohm, 6 layer coil, using a foam surround, and regular dome, light sturdy cone assembly I would try and look for those if possible
  23. no problem at all with that power, dont forget Dual 3ohms, so its 1.5ohms ran in parr When the subs were $299 on blow out on some website, I WANTED to buy some, so $150 thats a good deal, make sure the dome is secure, the LEDs light up, and the leads are good, and no buzzing from the spider clamp assembly
