    under the window, will be the loudest that i have tested... if you check out any of the vids in my car, the port is firing towards the window

    build it the same specs, just change it to port up instead, it can be the same size...

    well your tuned low so you wont hit nearly as high as you should say tuning to 38-42 hz and in a hatchback, which has been said a few times in another one of your posts, subs up port up is louder, to a few people.... including my self. 147.6 is a good score tuned at 32 hz but if you switched it to subs up port up, you would prob hit higher

    johncarr runs 8 audiopipe ap30001ds in a low tuned box and did a 158 on a bassrace... with 8 15 non SPL subs.. from his post.. you just need ALOT of power to make them run very good his post on the audiopipe amp..

    i would love to see these tests... if you can pull them up... and no i cant test them because i dont have the equipment to.. but ALOT of people use these amps and dont have any problems with them

    ap30001d from audiopipe 3k rms at 2 ohm, and even more at .5 with the power to back it, and can be had for about 350~ google shopping ftw!

    it was pretty self explanatory with what he said in the previous post... your losing alot of wire compared to the 8 gauge. it would take 4 runs to = 8 gauge...

    can you take some pics of how your setup sits in your car? with the trunk lid closed? im still thinking its where your port is located... seriously push your box up against your seat or close to it and try the termlab again see if there is a diffrence .. *edit* were you playing the same song you got the score with, with the 2 12s? or a diffrence song just trying to figure out why you would hit so low with 2 18s in a hatch lol..

    also try moving the box forward more towards the front seats, i found in my car *hatchback subs up port up* the port should be about half way into the rear window and it sounds ALOT louder to me* havent had it metered yet but try moving the box, should help, especially if its under the trunk lid and not firing off the window
