  1. Yeah I just realized that. Still good, but I still don't see machine gunning or tapping as creativity. Nonetheless, he's good. Anybody can memorize tabs.
  2. Dragonforce is the shit. All of their videos are awesome. Here's another vid of Jani from Sonata Arctica (one of my favorite bands) playing with Syu from Galneryus another great band.
  3. Meade also had an electric company by me OMGOMGOMG Just playin. Meade vans drive all over by me.
  4. That's why you pop test. No need to remove anything.
  5. No way to be out of phase randomly. And yeah, they are moving, but you can't see if one is just acting as a passive radiator (i.e. blown) with your eyes alone. I suggest pop testing from the amp to make sure they are both getting signal. Then test AC voltage off the amp on both terminals. Please list your current amp also.
  6. So just for my reference..you say "it's out of the case". Are you referring to the carputer itself or the screen? Tbh, I don't care for the screen, but if the carputer is "out of its case" could be clarified, that would be sweet.
  7. Well if this holds until Friday, consider it sold.
  8. I've done 300+ designs for other people, and I have never in my life used 30in^2 of port for a pair of 12" subs. Also, using winISD you get a vent mach of .13 using a 5.5"x5.5" port(assuming same sd and xmax as a normal lvl3). Still in the green according to the program, but just barely. And most of the stuff I do keeps vent mach below .7 or so. If you were to use three 4" aeroports, I'd say you'd be fine because the flares obviously cut down on turbulence at the port openings. But a standard slot port that size is going to have noise issues, plain and simple. I just did 72sq of port for eight 10s.. There is nothing wrong with using small ports. Now..I don't agree with makin a small port just to meet tuning desires necessarily, but rather to meet some air compliance and response goals. Port noise is so easy to avoid, but I've never had the problem.
  9. Are you referring to the length of time it takes something to get done or time just passing quickly while working? Because it literally took me seven hours to wire up my driver door these past two days..it was horrible.
  10. What type, color, material, thickness, flared ends, etc.? The more info the better. They can be made pretty easily.
  11. Why do you say that? This. And I don't believe 260 with perfect form is very difficult at his weight. Maybe at first, but after about three weeks (three to four times doing legs) you'll be laughing at it. It's easy to get cocky with yourself once you start repping higher numbers. Don't let the 300 or 400 point get the best of you. Concentrate on the form, otherwise you might as well not work out legs. I'm 6'2" I hover between 190 and 200 and I can rep 450 six times, with good form. NOTE: I never said I did it easily lol. It's very taxing, and I only to it for one set. I like to consider my "MAX" set my 6 rep point. I don't believe in "maxes".
  12. So I'm selling off the PT finally. Right now, I'm selling for $500 because it needs a bit of work, but the issues preventing it from driving are minimal if you have any experience under the hood. Positive Low sale price - $500 Prebuilt 24cu shell 1-3 layers of deadener throughout entire car 2 custom door panels Bracket built for second alternator Can fit D3100 under hood Engine in perfect condition Bagged in the rear (port under license plate) Negative Tranny needs work. Won't shift out of second gear in "Drive" Alts are pulled and need repair Radiator fan must be switched (bad relay) So that's what's up with it. I'm selling it as a project car if you want it, otherwise it's going to the junkyard. A LOT of work is done to it for car audio, so hopefully that's some incentive. It would need to be picked up locally on a trailer or towed as it sits. I can throw in a battery for a little extra if needed. Sorry for the low lighting pics, but I only have a week to get rid of it. I'll try to post better ones tomorrow. Click the link to my album with all of the pics. I can't seem to image tag it from facebook. I'll photobucket later tonight. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2895275&id=13746130&l=b2615574b8
  13. Just keep an eye on the heat if you're gonna play for a long time. You should be good either way though. Most 4-channels are stable at 2 ohms anyways.
  14. That's a great site for vinyl and everything associated. The stretch levels are just how the threads are woven in the back I believe. The four way stretch stuff will be your best bet if you have little experience with wrapping. (I'm learning the hard way right now lol) Make sure you get some good adhesive if you're going to be messing with a lot of curves. (Also...I'm learning the hard way)
  15. So...you're playing your stuff for a very long time with the car off, and it dies. Why not just keep an eye on your voltage then? You'll have no problems.
  16. I have two Kinetik HC2400s I'm selling. Hit me up to make a deal.
  17. Damn man.. I do hope everything works out for you. Come back from time to time just to check in! We'll see you on here again. I'm sure of it.
  18. Damn Kranny, I wish you could have heard the cruiser when it was in full swing lol. You're not that far from me.
  19. For some, that may work. But for 99% of others, it's a good way to clear your colon lol
  20. You're not far from it.. I've been able to hover 190-200 and I'm 6'2". Granted, I have the metabolism of a freak of nature. It's extremely difficult for me to make size gains, so I've concentrated on pure strength training disregarding size/weight. I've pulled off some incredible numbers for my size and the looks just came with it. A byproduct, if you will. Everybody is different though. We each have a different response to biomechanical stresses. I say, don't waste your money now. Take a few months to learn what your body responds best to. You won't see changes overnight, so don't lose your motivation. The gym fills up every year in January, then empties by about February for everybody who got upset they weren't seeing results.
  21. So here's the deal man. Supplements are a great tool when they are used properly. When I say properly, I mean your body actually has a demand for the nutrients whether it be from lack of intake, or high intensity training where all of them are expended and there is a need for more in order to facilitate repair. I cannot say how they will affect your results. I don't know your diet or routine. So I'll assume since you just started again, and you're asking for some info, that you do NOT need them. Give me some of your goals/habits and I'll be able to help you more.
  22. I think your read wikipedia on the wrong day, double your output is roughly 3db gain, 10 db gain is 10x 20 db gain is 100x louder 30 db gain is 1000x louder This is mostly right. I say mostly because human perception is too subjective for actual figures. But on the meter measuring compression, then yes. And just for some fun.. Think of 3dB roughly as doubling your pressure at a given point. (P + 3dB = P * 21) A simple equation to give you a rough idea what kind of compression difference you'll get Gain multiplier = 2(dB gain / 3) Example: 10dB gain Gain multiplier = 2(10/3) Gain multiplier = 10.07 20dB gain Gain multiplier = 2(20/3) Gain multiplier = 101.59
