Waiting on a break in schedule to jump on the CNC again!
As much as I hate to do it, the new DC will be about 65% of the size of the current port. I just can't work a big port unless I tune to like 60hz FML
Woofer is shipped with things like cardbord, foam, paper, plastic bag, and maybe a sticker none of which I'd think was very heavy, don't worry bro that is about right and you'll be bangin shortly.

Adding a 45 to the inside of your port corner will not lower the volume of enclosure the woofer will see. It sounds like you need to bust out some 2x4 bracing to eat up a few tenths of a cubic foot
This is true!! Way I described would be the right way. If you ran a pair of matching 1k amps you can probably get away with an upgraded stock electrical, and a nice sly would be icing on the cake. Or you can get a single 2k amp @1ohm and get dual 4ohm T2s
Either way, the louder you are the more stuff needs to be upgraded. Sooner or later your going to want that extra 1200w why not do it all right the first time? With an awesome build log of course! Those T2 15a are monsters
The XL 10 and DD are pretty on par with each other, not worth the switch if your looking for big gains but if you just want to play around with something new the XL would be a sweet way to go
I used to have a pair, paid 20$ for them. Low xmax low power handeling drivers. One level over junk IMO
I think I still have a basket/motor hanging in my shed
Harris welding supply sells #2 welding cable by the foot and is in northern sac. If you need RCAs I might be in the area and can bring remote wire +cheap RCAs or whatever you need.
